World Champion Rob Tallack’s Karate Kids is an
innovative Martial Arts program which is sweeping Ontario!
We bring world class Black Belt instructors right to the children’s elementary
school and run a 45 minute long Martial Arts lesson during their lunch recess.
Classes occur once per week and concentrate on developing each student’s
focus, concentration, discipline and physical fitness! |

Sensei Rob Tallack won two gold medals at the 2001 World Karate Championships, held that year in Atlanta Georgia. Upon his return to Canada Sensei Tallack received congratulations from the Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chretien.
It was at that time Sensei Tallack realized that he wanted a way to share the benefits of Traditional Martial Arts with as many children as possible in our community.
Sensei Tallack had the chance as a young boy to spend a number of years living in Japan, studying with the worlds leading Masters of Martial Arts.
There are two main obstacles with after
school Martial Arts lessons:
1. A great number of families do not have the time to take
their child to ANOTHER evening activity.
2. Professional Martial Arts schools charge
professional tuition fees.
The solution Rob developed was to bring the instructors right to the children at their school! This resulted in both of the obstacles being overcome!!!
The Karate Kids classes take place during the children’s lunch hour recess which maximizes their time during the day. As there is little overhead associated with the Karate Kids program, we are able to charge a very low monthly fee!
The result has been spectacular!
Rob began the Karate Kids program in 2001 with 3 schools and 30 students. During our 2008-2009 academic year, the Karate Kids program was at over 50 schools and had over 3800 participants across Ontario!
Karate Kids help save energy costs by sending one or two professional instructors to the children, rather then each parent taking the time, effort and money to transport each child to an after school program!
The community has spoken, and they are saying
they love the Karate Kids program! |
