The Kung-Fu Program at Tallack Martial Arts is a fast moving active class that will stretch your flexibility and acrobatic ability to new limits. We focus on the Shaolin 5 Animal Style of Kung fu, which encompasses the Dragon, Tiger, Crane, Leopard, and Snake. Walking, jumping, running and flying kicks are patiently explained and thoroughly coached. The unique hand sets of Shao-lin are introduced slowly with attention to detail.

Classical forms based on the movements of the animals are taught nightly and the application of the techniques are always carefully reviewed. The Kung Fu program also incorporates intense sparring activities. Mock combat including striking, grappling, joint locks, high and low kicks are all included to teach students the fundamentals of combat and self defense.
The Kung Fu program is an intense challenge, offering a high level of fitness along with practical self defense techniques.
